“This is a handsome Victorian pub done out in hipster-historic style (cream metro tiles and copper fittings)… Six snug bedrooms were added here last summer, each with unapologetically big bathrooms, some with claw-foot tubs. The look is funky townhouse: white-painted exposed brick, petrol-blue wainscoting, wool-covered headboards and bold graphic screen prints.” (December 2015)
